Intense and deep ruby-red.
Very complex and intense, with a very articulated and opulent nose of blackberry, plum and black cherry. Elegant balsamic hints and notes of liquorice.
The “36” 2017 will reveal its full expressive potential beginning in spring 2022, and will continue to develop in character through 2033 and beyond if properly cellared. We recommend opening the bottle at least one hour before enjoying.
Rich, ripe and concentrated, with a well-integrated oak. Well-bodied, with sweet tannins of excellent quantity and quality. Good balance between power and elegance. Very long and fresh at the finish, with hints of menthol.

The perfectly ripened fruit has been harvested in small bins and “air-concentrated” in a well-ventilated room. Mid of October the grapes have been crushed and placed in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, where the alcoholic fermentation took place. Afterwards, for the malolactic fermentation, the “36” was given 36 months in new French oak barriques (Allier and Tronçais). Frequent racking from the lees allowed for bottling without fining, filtration or other physical stabilization. This may result in slight sediment in the bottle.
