This liqueur is made from walnuts which are still green, harvested in Ticino in the last days of June, and macerated in Ticino grappa with the addition of sugar and natural spices, according to a very old recipe. It is excellent if consumed at the end of a meal, at a temperature of 15°C, as a digestive or to flavour typical walnut ice cream
